The world wide popularity of rock and hippie culture created a huge impact on the social front in the world. The general entity of music had the power to stir the foundations of the society, attitudes and daily life of people in the world. Since the advent of rock music and fashion generations and generations of punks have been given birth to and the strains of this type of music have become embedded in the culture and fashion of the ongoing era. Basically the foundation of rock led to the division of the world when two factions of youngsters in the United Kingdom formed groups named rockers and the Mods which were basically acronyms for their attitude. The rockers were the poor segment of the rock fans while the Mods were the lavish spenders who thought they were the best when it came to rock music fashion.
